Krypton season 2 episode 61/29/2024 Sadly, all the lad could tell Zod was that the rebels still held control of the broadcast system. While his officer was reporting about Doomsday’s whereabouts in the Outlands, all Zod could care about was if Lyta’s public execution was still being broadcasted all throughout Kandor. Lyta’s loss weighed heavily on everyone even Zod. ![]() And now, it lies on Val (Ian McElhinney) to make the hard choices. After Jax’s (Hannah Waddingham) rash decision, she was outcasted. On the other hand, the rebellion has also changed pace. ![]() And it is more crucial now that General Zod (Colin Salmon) has lost all restraint and has become a revenge-seeking, dangerous murderer. Despite this, Seg (Cameron Cuffe) and the others are trying to recoup and find reason again to fight. And now, hell is on the verge of breaking loose. Last week’s loss quite literally pulled the trigger for Krypton. And fortunately, we blissfully still have 4 more episodes to go and a lot more to expect before another long wait. Ann Ogbomo, Cameron Cuffe, Colin Salmon, Ian McElhinney – every single one of them may have just given their best performance yet. In addition to that, this week’s episode of Krypton saw a multitude of great performances from the show’s actors. It keeps the emotions afloat in Krypton while helping the narrative smoothly overcome this transition. Krypton had a set ending (it blows-up and Superman lives)…but we most likely will never see it.After last week’s shocking climax, “In Zod We Trust” is the perfect response. This is unfortunate, and a trend that has kind of been forgotten over the years with series that have set endings. All of this of course was crushed by the cancellation and as more time passes, it seems unlikely that a season or even a movie wrap-up will happen. You had Brainiac headed to Earth with Jor-El where Jor-El would gain powers like his son, and Sig and Lobo making a tentative deal to track Brainiac…plus, Adam Strange finally got his rocket pack. The future promised the Thanagar-Rann and Hawkworld with hints of the Omega Men. It provided a much needed change to series.Īs the series begins to swell, Krypton ends. This season livened things up by getting off the planet a few times (and also visiting a bright city in the “Mercy” episode). I like some of the special effects of the series and the costume designs, but the basic dark and mopey look of all the locations looked very much like sets. I can’t wait to see what nefarious plans Brainiac has for Jor-El…or notĪ big problem with Krypton-Season 1 was the sets. I do like the development of Rasmus Hardiker’s Kem and the series tries to demonstrate that Shaun Sipos’s Adam Strange is becoming a true hero in his own standing. ![]() Colin Salmon continues to be menacing as Zod, but the character needs more direction. I like Wallis Day this season with Nyssa finally getting more of a storyline, but in giving Nyssa a bigger story, Ann Ogbomo and Aaron Pierre really don’t have much to do. Cameron Cuffe is more likable and a bit more defined. The cast also feels more comfortable this season. It keeps the season moving in the sense you look forward to the episodes where these characters appear, and they break up the monotony of the Seg-Nyssa-Lyta-General Zod-Jayna-Dev storyline that has been brewing since Season 1. In addition to Lobo, Brainiac returns as one of the villains, and you get an impressive looking Doomsday (who I prefer to the Doomsday of Batman v Superman). I’ve never been that big of Lobo fan, but it was something different for a series that mostly had characters running through tunnels and having bad soap-opera romances. The addition of superheroes does add a slight spark to the series. Thanagar!!! I can’t wait! Omega Men…yes!!! Crap…
