Ultimate football manager 20151/30/2024 The manual tells you that you should left click on a player's name, click on a button marked "swap" (which is at the other end of the screen, of course), then left click again on the player to be swapped with. Take, as an example, swapping players on the team roster. This also means that many control options and shortcuts are left for you to find out on yourself. You get a (very!) basic description of most options, but otherwise are more or less thrown into the deep end. The manual is sparse, trying to cover too much ground using too little substance. ![]() Even my Wavrider 32+, a notoriously (for me, at least) difficult card to configure, didn't complain. Ultimate Soccer Manager 2, a new offering from Sierra (yeah, the guys from King's Quest), hails to be the new king of Soccer Management games. Motion capture work, done with the assistance of players from AFC Wimbledon at Total War developer Creative Assembly's mo-cap studio, has added more than 2000 new animations. That is what's boldly written on the box, anyway. SI said the Match View has seen its biggest improvement since the introduction of 3D in Football Manager 2009. "Whether a manager wants to be old school, or a head coach, they can now dictate this from the very start of their managerial career - and improve their skills throughout by taking virtual coaching badges."Įlsewhere, the user interface has been redesigned in a bid to make the FM quicker and easier to navigate. "Football management is a multi-faceted role nowadays and many of the new features in FM15 reflect this," says SI chief Miles Jacobson. ![]() As a result, for the first time the manager can be on the training ground with the players. Options include a tracksuit manager, who focuses on the training ground, and a tactical manager, who focuses on tactics and player recruitment. The game asks prospective managers to decide on the type of manager they want to be before they've even accepted a job. The hook this year is that FM15 has been designed to make managing a club more personal and customisable. Careers started in the beta version, which will be available two weeks before the final game, carry over.
